Oh my. To get to 100 is a pretty amazing feeling... Today's was short for a 100 painting moment though. I kinda forgot about it, I just paint. I'm scared to forget to do one one day out of habit. I won't let that happen!

 I started doing the design basics challenge which is to paint the composition rules I learn as I read the book. I'm expecting around 5 elements per week. Yeah!

This one was about achieving unity through proximity. The bunnies close together make unity in this. I see other composition elements in it as well like repetition. I guess its a combination of both.

I tried something different today. I found out recently about this amazing artist named Maciej Kuciara and tried a work method of his. I basically took a photograph taken by myself a while ago and simply painted over it to change it into something completely new. This was once a sushi bar. Unfortunately, the photograph is grainy so there's some remaining spots with that problem.

I decided to illustrate a moment in the classical story, Bluebeard! ... or Barbe Bleue! 

Basically this scene is when the new wife of Bluebeard disobeys him by opening the only door he forbade her to touch. She received a set of keys so she had access to the castle when her husband would be gone. However, when she opens that door, she finds all his past murdered wifes in their now clotted blood and the key stains in red. No matter now hard she tries to scrub it off, it magically remains there. She'll be in trouble when her husband gets back home.

Have no idea.
